The projects, Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences and Holiday Inn Resort Sapa, commenced in July, adding to the group's expanding portfolio in the scenic tourism hotspot.
Sa Pa, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant ethnic culture, attracted over 4.6 million visitors in 2024, with projections targeting 5.8 million in 2025. Alphanam's recent projects aim to cater to this growing tourism demand.
Last year, a consortium involving Alphanam units began construction of the Golden Square social housing project in Lao Cai, valued at VND2.1 trillion ($79.6 million). This demonstrates the group's commitment to balanced development, addressing both luxury and affordable housing needs.
Alphanam's expansion spree includes a proposed four-star hotel in Lai Chau and the Altara Residences Quy Nhon in Binh Dinh province. The group is also developing over 50 projects nationwide, ranging from urban townships to resorts and high-end housing, controlling over 5,000 hectares of land.
In 2021, Alphanam laid the foundation stone for a luxury hotel and residential complex worth VND5.5 trillion ($208.5 million) in Sa Pa. This project, part of the Muong Hoa international resort complex, is expected to be completed in 2027. It will include the Courtyard by Marriott Sa Pa with 316 rooms, 192 serviced apartments, and nine bungalows, as well as the Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy Sapa with 354 residences and 18 townhouses.
Alphanam Group's recent projects in Sa Pa, Lao Cai, reflect the company's strategic expansion in the tourism and real estate sectors. With a diverse portfolio of over 50 projects and control over 5,000 hectares of land nationwide, the group continues to shape Vietnam's urban landscape and tourism industry.
