Children to Enjoy Swimming at Beaches in Novorossiysk and Temryuk District, Including Anapa.
Children from Anaapa Health Resorts to be Transferred to Beaches in Novorossiysk and Temryuk District
The Kuban GIBDD announced on May 27 that children vacationing in Anaapa will have the opportunity to swim in the Black Sea, despite Rospotrebnadzor deeming the Anaapa beaches unsafe in 2025. Transportation to safe beaches in Novorossiysk and Temryuk District is being arranged for these children.
The decline in demand for children's camps in the Krasnodar Krai by 45% in 2025, partly due to an oil spill incidence, may have contributed to this decision. GIBDD officers in the region will oversee the transportation process, with additional safety measures in place.
In 2025, Rospotrebnadzor had deemed Anaapa beaches unsafe for recreation, prompting the installation of signs prohibiting swimming. Meanwhile, children with lung diseases from Stavropol are being sent to a resort for treatment, where sea bathing is recommended. Additionally, the authorities in the Volgograd Region plan to send children with disabilities on vacation to Anaapa, having purchased vouchers worth 11 million rubles.
Fifty-eight million rubles have been allocated to support children's camps in Anaapa and the Temryuk District, as reported by Yuga.ru. This support could be driving the effort to offer alternative beaches for the children in Anaapa, although specific details regarding water quality and safety measures are yet to be elaborated.
- Due to the Anaapa beaches being deemed unsafe for recreation by Rospotrebnadzor in 2025, these children will now be able to enjoy a change of lifestyle with a travel opportunity to safe beaches in Novorossiysk and Temryuk District.
- Amid the decline in demand for children's camps in Krasnodar Krai and the allocation of funds to support children's camps in Anaapa and the Temryuk District, these children will be offered an alternative lifestyle through travel to safer beach destinations.
