From October 6 to 11, 2025, the Rhoen Club Bischofsheim-Kreuzberg e.V. and the Tourist Information Bischofsheim invite you to a special fall hiking week in Bischofsheim in the Rhone. The week-long event includes various tours, ending with a surprise on the 'Der Strahlunger' hike on Saturday.
The week begins with an official opening and guest welcome at 9 am in the historic Rentamt. The inaugural hike leads from Gersfeld through the scenic Gichenbachtal. On Tuesday, hikers will trek from Zuentsbach to Burg-Schwarzenfels. Wednesday's itinerary includes the Fruit Carpet in Sargenzell and the extra tour Weinbergwanderung from Huenfeld. Friday features the 'Die Kreuzbergtour' with a stop at the Kloster Kreuzberg. Thursday's 'Klosterteich Runde' hike starts in Duernhof and ends at Maria Bildhausen, with a lunch break at the Klostergasthof. Each hiker will receive a certificate documenting their days of hiking. The daily price per hiker is 5 euros.
