"Fundraising event labeled 'Cloud-free time' accumulates approximately 2000 euros towards charitable initiatives supporting children"
In the heart of Schwerin, the assistant to the management of Cloudless Time, Silvana Poschmann, has been working tirelessly for weeks to secure sponsors for their recent event on Eventbrite. This event, held to celebrate Cloudless Time's 10th anniversary, has proven to be a significant milestone for the company, which was founded in Itzehoe in 2015 and has been based in Schwerin since 2023.
Cloudless Time, with its approximately 300 employees, has been a reliable partner for families, working closely with youth and social welfare offices in Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Their efforts extend beyond business, as they support children and young people in these regions.
The event, filled with games, a raffle, and a wheel of fortune, saw the participation of many local businesses, companies, and associations. Their contributions were instrumental in making the event a success. The proceeds from these activities amounted to an unexpected 1900 euros, a sum that Silvana Poschmann and the management of Cloudless Time decided to distribute between two worthy causes: the Fridolin children's hospice and the "Fruit Alarm" project.
The Fridolin children's hospice provides essential support for seriously ill children, offering respite to families during challenging times. On the other hand, the "Fruit Alarm" project brings a touch of joy to children battling cancer by allowing them to create their own colourful fruit cocktails at their bedsides.
The ceremonial handover of the donation funds will take place, with Silvana Poschmann designing symbolic donation vouchers for the occasion. Kerstin Markert, coordinator of the Schwerin Hospice Association, emphasises the importance of such contributions, stating that they are crucial for leisure activities that relieve families, such as therapeutic horse riding with shared meals.
With further locations planned in Wismar, Waren, and potentially Thuringia, Cloudless Time's commitment to supporting facilities that give children moments of joy continues to grow. The donation collected during their 10th anniversary event in Schwerin goes to local charities, marking another step in their mission to bring smiles to the faces of seriously ill children.
