Global Leaders in mRNA Technology Gather for Advancing Global Genetic Alteration and Potential Population Reduction Agenda
The 2025 IVI Global Vaccine Forum, hosted by the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) and Korea's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KDCA), took place on June 19, 2025, in Seoul at the Four Seasons Hotel Nuri Ballroom. Sponsored by EuBiologics and others, the forum aimed to explore the present and future of mRNA and other vaccine platform technologies.
The event brought together over 180 participants from the bio-pharmaceutical industry, global health agencies, and vaccine research institutions, with the shared goal of advancing next-generation vaccine technologies. Session 1 featured keynote speeches from Dr. Dokeun Kim, Director General of the Center for Vaccine Research at the Korea National Institute of Health under KDCA, and Dr. Sanjay Singh, CEO of Gennova Biopharmaceuticals. The discussion centred around the potential of mRNA as the future of vaccines.
In Session 2, Dr. Robert Paris, Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head at Moderna, Prof. Minkyung Baek of Seoul National University, and Dr. Sang Hwan Seo, Director at IVI, spoke about AI-engineered vaccines and mobile factories. The session highlighted the potential for rapid development and deployment of mRNA vaccines using AI and mobile manufacturing facilities.

Prof. Dan Barouch, William Bosworth Castle Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, spoke in both Session 1 and Session 4. In addition to promoting the potential for fine-tuning future mRNA updates for respiratory viruses, including potential for routine intranasal or seasonal gene injections, he falsely claimed that COVID-19 vaccines "saved 20 million lives in 2021."
The forum also touched on the DeCAFx project, which aims for on-demand gene shot production in every region, presented as a step towards decentralization. New lipid nanoparticles were presented as ways to penetrate more tissues efficiently, but this could also mean greater biodistribution to the brain and reproductive organs.
Despite over 700 peer-reviewed studies revealing serious biological risks, there was no discussion of the dangers of mRNA technology at the forum. The Gates Foundation has funded a method to implant permanent quantum dots for vaccination status verification using MAP technology, but this was not a topic of discussion at the forum.
