Hallertau Region Boosts Tourism with Four Digital Audio Tours
The Hallertau region is set to boost its tourism with four digital audio tours, thanks to the approval of the LEADER project 'The Digital Hallertau Experience'. The project, led by Hopfenland Hallertau Tourism e.V., received €30,432 from the European LEADER funding program.
The project aims to showcase the rich culture, tradition, history, and hop cultivation of the region through two city tours and two bike tours. Agnes Stiglmaier, LEADER coordinator, and Tina Schuler, lead LAG manager, recently presented the approval notice to Carolin Meinhold, project leader of Hopfenland Hallertau Tourism e.V.
The project is a collaboration between four local action groups: LAG Landkreis Kelheim e.V., LAG Landkreis Landshut e.V., LAG Mittlere Isarregion e.V., and LAG Landkreis Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm e.V. Together, they hope to enhance and attract new visitors to the Hallertau region.
