Hyatt Transforms London's Former U.S. Embassy Into Luxury Hotel
Hyatt has announced plans to transform the former U.S. Embassy on London's Grosvenor Square into a luxury hotel, set to open on September 1, 2025. Meanwhile, in Mayfair, The Chancery Rosewood London has opened its doors, offering a new destination with 144 suites and residences.
The Mandarin Mayfair Hotel, situated in the heart of Mayfair, provides a blend of elegance and understated luxury with its 50 rooms. It boasts a large swimming pool, a gym, and a spa offering wellness experiences inspired by traditional Chinese medicine. Guests can dine at two distinctive restaurants, Somssi by Jihun Kim and Atrium Restaurant, or enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar.
London, served by six international airports, sees most Turkish flights landing at four of them. For convenience, many travelers choose London Heathrow as their gateway. The city's culinary scene offers a variety, from artisanal breads and pastries at The Dusty Knuckle Bakery in Dalston to the modern take on the old British steak and chophouse at Blacklock Restaurant.
Hyatt's conversion of the former U.S. Embassy into a luxury hotel promises to add another prestigious address to London's hospitality scene. Meanwhile, The Chancery Rosewood London, with its 144 suites and residences, caters to those seeking a more residential style stay. Both openings are set to enhance London's appeal as a luxury travel destination.
