Jetset Fame: Influencers' Vacation in Mallorca Unveils Europe's Aid Tolerance
Stripped Down and Bold: Two German YouTubers embark on a daring journey across Spain, testing friendliness and seeking entertainment.
Get ready for a wild ride! Meet Melvin Stahl and Philipp Stehle, influencers from Murr, Ludwigsburg, who are about to embark on an unconventional adventure—1200 kilometers from southern Germany to Barcelona, Spain, with nothing but underwear, backpacks, and technical gear.
This duo, known for their tattoos and entertaining Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content, is always up for a challenge. From a 13-hour Bundeswehr orientation run to 30 days without carbohydrates, they're ready to go the extra mile to keep their 42,000 Instagram followers, 1.1 million TikTok followers, and over 3,000 YouTube subscribers hooked.
Their new challenge aiming to boost their brand "next8level" and conduct a social experiment is clear: "What happens when two heavily tattooed men in underwear walk into a village and ask for clothes?" muses Philipp Stehle.

The Journey Begins
On June 9th, they'll be dropped off in southern Germany, and the destination remains a secret until the day of the drop. Equipped with hitchhiking as their primary mode of transport, they must reach Barcelona without money, food supplies, or a tent. The final destination? The party mile Schinkenstrasse near Palma, a place steeped in memories since they first met 11 years ago.
With a seven-day time limit, things might get tougher as the journey progresses. The key to success: trust and the generosity of strangers. Their appearance, with Melvin standing at 1.94m tall, large back tattoos, and initial underwear-only dressing, is not likely to be a conversation starter. A French dictionary will not help them along the way.
But the duo is resilient. "We're not afraid of rejection," says Melvin Stahl, a 31-year-old who met Philipp eleven years ago during a party in Mallorca. They've been living together and traveling since then.
A Paperclip Trade-In
One unique aspect of the challenge is their office clip, an item they can trade. The success of their endeavor relies on the kindness of strangers, as it could be challenging to find clothing, food, and accommodations throughout the journey.
The duo is used to long hours and rejection, having once sold tickets together on Ibiza's beaches as promoters. Now, they focus their energy on their social media channels, primarily YouTube, but also work part-time as 24-hour caregivers for a severely disabled person.
Despite the challenges and the burning Spanish sun, they're determined to reach their goal on time, using their phones only for video documentation and no help from Google Maps or hotel booking apps.
