L.A. Comic Con 2025: Cosplay Championships, Horror Attractions & Celebrity Guests Await

The Los Angeles Convention Center is set to host the fourteenth edition of L.A. Comic Con from September 26 to 28, 2025. This year's event promises a thrilling mix of cosplay, celebrities, panels, and immersive experiences, with a special focus on horror attractions.

The Cosplay National Championships will take centre stage on Saturday, September 27, offering a cash prize of $25,000 to the winner. The event will also feature an on-stage Q&A with One Piece voice actors Luci Christian, Sonny Strait, and Ian Sinclair. Meanwhile, horror enthusiasts can explore a vast 35,000 square feet horror movies activation area, including the chilling Jack The Ripper Encounter and a Haunted Car Wash.

L.A. Comic Con is excited to debut Akiba Station, an immersive experience inspired by Tokyo's Akihabara district. This new attraction joins other popular features like the Museum of Monsters and the CarnEvil of Souls, led by the enigmatic Mr. Floats. The event will also host a Kid's Costume Contest on Sunday, September 28, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans can look forward to panels and activities galore, with over a thousand artists and vendors showcasing their work in Artists Alley. Celebrity news includes appearances by Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, David Arquette, and Jamie Kennedy from the Scream franchise, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and cast members from Baldur's Gate 3 and The Amazing Digital Circus. Akiba Station at LA Comic Con 2025 will also welcome guest stars Yuki Kaji, Caitlyn Bairstow, and Billy Kametz.
