Qantas Frequent Flyers Can Now Earn Status Credits Without Flying
Qantas Frequent Flyer members now have a new way to earn Status Credits without stepping on a plane. The offer, valid until December 31, 2025, requires registration by October 31 and allows members to earn up to 110 Status Credits through everyday activities.
The new initiative, part of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, rewards members for earning Qantas Points in various categories. These include banking, insurance, and retail. Members can earn 20 Status Credits for every 1,000 Qantas Points earned in certain categories, and 10 Status Credits for every 1,000 Qantas Points earned in other categories. This offer provides a significant opportunity for members to boost their Status Credits balance.
Andrew Glance, CEO of Qantas Loyalty, sees this offer as a way to reward members for their loyalty, even when they're not flying. 'We want to recognise our members for their everyday spending and provide them with more ways to earn Status Credits and unlock benefits,' he said.
With this new offer, members can earn a maximum of 110 Status Credits, bringing them closer to unlocking Silver status at 300 Status Credits or Gold status at 700 Status Credits. The offer is active until December 31, 2025, and members must register by October 31 to participate. This initiative is another step by Qantas in rewarding its frequent flyers for their loyalty.
