Scooping Up Skies: QazaqAir's Redefining Journey

Get ready, Kazakhstan! QazaqAir, our very own flag carrier, is shaking things up with a fresh route kickoff. Starting May 1, they'll be soaring to Turkistan and Samarkand, thanks to the Kazakh Transport Ministry's go-ahead.

Want to know more about this exhilarating transformation? Here's the juicy deep dive.

Those thrice-weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays ain't just a small change-up. They'll bump the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan flights from a measly 42 to 44 per week, opening new horizons for us!

Last year, QazaqAir switched hands from Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund to a consortium of Vietnamese investors, dubbed Central Asia Aviation Holdings Limited, which is an offshoot of the Sovico Group. You can call it a game-changer!

The new bosses got big plans – modernizing the airline, amping up its operational efficiency, and expanding its regional reach. Exciting stuff, right?

Over the coming years, Qazaq Air's fleet will be beefed up with 20 top-of-the-line Boeing 737 MAX 8 or Airbus aircraft. Now, aren't they a sleek bunch?

But wait, there's more!

Vietjet Qazaqstan, possibly the new name on the horizon, could be a collaboration with none other than VietJetAir – another big-name baby of the Sovico Group.

Brace yourselves, Kazakhs, because this isn't just a facelift. Qazaq Air aims to become a strategic air bridge connecting our homeland with Vietnam and Southeast Asia, igniting cross-border tourism, trade, and logistics. Talk about rocketing to the top!

Intrigued by all this? Stay tuned for more updates as we soar into the future together!
