Recreation of Life at Italy/Holy See Pavilion: Hope Found in Art's Resurgence and Beauty's Restoration
The Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai is a much-anticipated event, and the Italy pavilion is undoubtedly a highlight. This attraction seamlessly combines art, science, and innovation to showcase Italy's cultural heritage alongside its vision for future mobility and sustainability.
Visitors to the Italy pavilion are greeted by authentic artworks, including the ancient Roman sculpture, the Farnese Atlas, which is on display for the first time in Japan. Other valuable pieces, such as Caravaggio's masterpiece Deposition, are also featured at the Holy See Pavilion, which is located within the Italy pavilion and has the theme "Beauty Brings Hope."
Immersive exhibits exploring future mobility and sustainability reflect Italian innovation in technology and design. Outside the pavilion, visitors can enjoy delightful performances, adding a lively cultural atmosphere to the experience. The indoor theater in the Italy pavilion will host opera, orchestra, and fashion shows.
The interior design of the Italy pavilion is inspired by the Colosseum in Rome, and a classic Italian hanging garden adorns the rooftop. This garden features a restaurant serving authentic Italian food and wine, providing a perfect setting to unwind after a day of exploration.
