Thailand Affirms Preparation for Hosting Gastech 2026 Event
Thailand is set to welcome the world's largest energy exhibition and conference, Gastech 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The event is scheduled to take place from 17th to 21st September 2026, marking a significant milestone for the country's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.
Thailand's MICE industry is led by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), a government agency established in 2004 and supervised by the Prime Minister. TCEB serves as a strategic partner, delivering creative ideas and solutions to ensure the success of business events in the country.
Gastech 2026 is expected to attract over 50,000 attendees from 150 countries, featuring over 1,000 exhibiting companies and 1,000 expert speakers. The event will showcase Thailand's world-class MICE infrastructure, state-of-the-art venues, and internationally renowned hospitality.
The focus for Gastech 2026 is on collaboration and progress in shaping the future of energy solutions. Dr. Pasu, the Minister of Commerce, has stated that Thailand is ready to welcome the global energy community for this prestigious event.
Delegates will have convenient mobility and accommodation, with over 50 hotels along the BTS line offering direct access to BITEC via the BTS Skytrain. The event will also be served by Suvarnabhumi Airport, one of the world's most connected airports, with 113 international airlines.
